Shiv Mahapuran is a book dedicated to Lord Shiva. In one particular tale Lord Brahma falls in love with his own daughter who was born from his flesh, due to a spell put on him by Lord Kamadeva. Lord Shiva on hearing this ridicules Lord Brahma. Lord Brahma is angered by the ridicule and asks his son Daksha to procreate and Sati is born.
